Interesting article. I have a twelve-yr-old, so I need good advice. I just don't get the whole vampire craze. I really don't let my daughter read romance novels, because I don't think she needs any extra help awakening those desires. And I really don't understand why so many adults want to read the Twilight series? On another note, a "cosmic" battle where both the hero and the archenemy are fighting for you can certainly point us to the metanarrative of the gospel. Narnia would be a fantasy of this genre...
